Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, New York was the setting for this fantastic reception.
The bride lived in Belgium and the groom lived in New York. Her position at a luxury hotel company encouraged the couple to rendezvous in some of the most fantastic places in the world, when their schedules allowed them time together.
The groom’s father (pictured earlier in this post) is a retired graphic designer. When it was decided that he would create these, Kristen sent him pictures, by e-mail, of each location they had visited for inspiration and authenticity. The retired couple could not open the attachments. The groom’s mother went to the public library to research each location so that her husband would be able to create these beautiful, handmade and very artistic table name cards. The detail in each one is incredible, down to the grooms glasses and the brides dark curly hair.
The flowers were spectacular, thanks to Daniel Florals.
Rob Kelley of DJ Gaza had guests dancing late in to the night.
This couple was wonderful to work with. I loved their color, decor and design choices! I was thrilled to coordinate their day. Thanks to David Willems for allowing me to share these photos with you.
Congratulations Kristen and Kevin!
